What You Need to Know
Every week, hundreds of drivers in Arizona are pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving. Many drivers are not prepared for this stop. This gives the police an unfair advantage when subjecting already nervous drivers to a battery of tests and the harshest of penalties.
There are a number of things you should know about a DUI stop.
Do’s:
- Take a breath or blood test (if requested)
- Ask to Speak to an attorney, (480-897-8737)
- Provide license, registration, & proof of Insurance
- Be courteous
Don’ts:
- Answer questions
- Consent to Video
- Admit anything
- Coordination tests
- Try and talk your way out
- Be rude
