Attorney Profiles

Melody graduated from Walla Walla College Cum Laude with degrees in English and Spanish. During her undergraduate studies she lived for a year in Valencia, Spain, where she studied the language and culture. She attended law school at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon and enjoyed a summer in Barcelona, Spain where she earned a Certificate in International and Comparative Law. She was admitted to practice in Arizona in 2004 in both State and Federal courts. Melody started her legal career practicing civil rights law, but later discovered a passion for criminal defense work while working at the Maricopa County Public Defenders Office where she had a felony case load at the trial group level. Melody joined the firm in March 2008.
